Why I Started Witty Scribbles

Ever had a moment where you thought, “You know what? I should definitely start a blog”. – and then you actually did it? Yeah, me neither. Still, here I am!! Beep-Beep >_<

So, how did Witty Scribbles come out of nowhere??

Witty Scribbles was born out of a mix of curiosity, passion, and from a simple idea—my love for words and storytelling. But this journey wasn’t just about creating a blog; it was about embracing my voice as a writer. And also, (let me be very real) a desperate need for side income. Being a student is basically a survival game, and me being broke after every first two weeks of each month doesn’t help me at all!! So, I started looking for options as to what I “can” not “should” do, to suffice my cravings whenever I pass any food stall or buy that cute thingy that’s on the display at a random shop or that book that’s on my reading list since idk when (YES, I LOVE READING 🧚‍♂️), and how can I forget my never-ending urge to buy new clothes. ♡♡

After all, I’m just a girl🎀

No no, neither my parents are broke, nor I am spoiled, but, the nervousness that peaks up in me whenever I decide to ask my parents for money is insane. Just because I know – I have to give the list of all the random spendings that I did to exhaust my money so fast, and the lecture that’s gonna lead up after it. (Ik, it’s for my good, and I’m not even complaining!)

I tried to go for freelancing, but the combo of my trust issues and online scammers didn’t allow me to do so. Also, let’s not forget, I was desperate and I wanted something authentic-

That’s when I came across blogging and if there’s one thing I can do well – it’s rambling about things I love (maybe, maybe not). So, why not turn those ramblings into something worthwhile? That’s when I decided to give Witty Scribbles a shot. Yayayya

Think of this blog as a cozy little corner of the Internet where words flow like coffee – warm, slightly addictive, and occasionally spilling over. I’ll be writing about [topics you’re interested in – like lifestyle, books, personal experiences, or anything else]. Basically, anything that makes me (and hopefully you) pause and think, huh, that’s interesting.
